Late Saturday night, on November 25, 2023, Point Fire was dispatched to aid the Emory Volunteer Fire Department in tackling a structure fire at a local business on County Road 4015. Additional support came from the East Tawakoni Fire Department and the City of Alba Volunteer Fire Department, alongside assistance from the Rains County Sheriff's Office. Hopkins County EMS was present to monitor the health and safety of the firefighters on the scene.
The firefighting efforts extended for over four hours, concluding without any reported injuries.
