Greenville Police Arrest Two on Drug Charges Following Hotel Raid

Narcotics detectives from the Greenville Police Department executed a search warrant on the morning of November 16 at a hotel room located at the Quality Inn, 1209 I-30. The target of the investigation, Calvin Ray Baker, Jr., was apprehended along with another individual, Dasha Gray.

Upon entering the hotel room, officers discovered a stash of illicit substances, including methamphetamine, fentanyl, clonazepam, and amphetamine. Additionally, marijuana and a firearm were also found at the scene. Both Baker Jr. and Gray were taken into custody without incident.

The charges brought against the suspects include manufacturing/delivery of controlled substances and possession of marijuana. Baker Jr. faces an additional charge of possession of a firearm by a felon. The Greenville Police Department continues its efforts to address drug-related activities within the community.

The arrests were made possible through the collaborative efforts of the narcotics detectives and officers involved in the investigation.
