Hunt County law enforcement agencies apprehended three individuals on various charges in separate incidents on November 4, 2023.
Tu Thanh Nguyen (39), a Vietnamese man, was arrested by Hunt County Sheriff Deputies for assault causing bodily injury family violence. His bond was set at $5,000.
Timothy Kyle Willaby of Commerce was arrested by Commerce Police Officers and charged with unlawful restraint and assault family/household member, impeding breath. Willaby has a history of violence and had previously been arrested several times for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and making terroristic threats against family or household members. He posted bond in the amount of $1,200.
Omaree Deon Drew (33) of Greenville was arrested by Greenville Police Officers and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He posted bond in the amount of $20,000. Drew also has a history of previous arrests in Kaufman, Collin, and Dallas Counties, with charges including driving while intoxicated (DWI), assault causing bodily injury to a family member, and resisting arrest.
