A joint undercover operation over the past two days has led to multiple arrests related to the online solicitation of minors, according to the Hopkins County Sheriff's Office.

The Texas Department of Public Safety, Hopkins County Sheriff's Office, Mt. Pleasant Police Department, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation collaborated on the two-day operation aimed at identifying individuals seeking to engage in sexual acts with children online.

Authorities said these agencies brought significant resources and manpower to proactively protect children in Hopkins County and surrounding areas.

The operation resulted in the arrest of multiple individuals who arrived at arranged locations in Hopkins County with the intent to meet and engage in sexual acts with minors. Additional ongoing investigations stemming from information gathered during the operation will likely lead to more arrests soon, officials said.

Two individuals were booked into the Hopkins County Jail on November 3, 2023 and charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor - Sexual Conduct, a second-degree felony:

  • Jason Scott Moore, 45, of Marshall, TX, bond set at $50,000.
  • Narciso Belli-Villegas, 32, of Fort Worth, TX, bond set at $100,000.
