Two Arrests Made in Hunt County with Charges Ranging from Assault to Drug Possession

On October 29, 2023, Hunt County Sheriff's Deputies apprehended a 34-year-old individual from Greenville, identified as Rene Jasmi Alvarado. He faces charges of assault causing bodily injury in a family violence incident, and his bond was set at $5,000.

On October 30, 2023, 23-year-old Kevin Morris Braswell of Princeton was arrested by the Greenville Police. He was charged with multiple offenses, including possession of marijuana (<2 ounces) with the intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance (between 1 gram and 4 grams), and possession of dangerous drugs. The total bond for these charges was established at $1,500.

It is worth noting that Kevin Morris Braswell has a history of previous arrests. On May 9, 2023, he was arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle. On April 7, 2022, he faced charges related to drug possession in Collin County. In 2017, when he was 17 years old, he was arrested in McKinney for an incident involving assault and causing bodily injury within a family context.
