Today, March 14, 2023, at approximately 12:00 PM, Garland Police Officers observed a wanted felon, 37-year-old Manuel Acosta De La Sancha, enter a residence in the 3400 block of Hillsdale Lane. Out of an abundance of caution, the Garland SWAT team responded to the location.
On scene, Garland SWAT Negotiators continuously gave Manuel commands to exit the residence, to which he eventually complied.
Officers arrested Manuel for a felony warrant for Family Violence Assault with Previous Convictions and a felony warrant for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.
He is currently in the Garland Detention Center, and no bond is set for either charge.
