The Texas Parks and Wildlife Division is investigating a boat accident that occurred Monday evening near the Johnson and Bosque county line.
At around 9:30pm, emergency responders from Rio Vista VFD, Cleburne FD, Johnson County AMR, and law enforcement officers responded to the Brazos River between Spring Creek and Lake Whitney for a reporting boat accident.
Authorities confirm a boat crashed in the area of Ham Creek Park. The operator and a passenger were both injured. It was initially reported that one person was unconscious. At least one of the occupants was flown to a Fort Worth hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
