A shooting incident in Denison claimed the life of a 49-year-old woman and left three men injured. The incident occurred at around 10:15 pm on August 20, 2023, in the 1100 block of West Owings Street, Denison TX.
Upon receiving the distress call, law enforcement arrived at the scene to find four individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. The woman was pronounced dead on-site and later identified as 49-year-old Scharhonda Baker.
The three wounded men were rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention. They are in stable condition.
The investigation led to the arrest of a juvenile in connection with this murder.
