Kaufman County Sheriff's Office Intensifies Search for Missing Man, Appeals to Public for Help

The Kaufman County Sheriff's Office is ramping up efforts to locate a missing person who vanished under mysterious circumstances nearly two years ago. Nicholas Dwight Carr, a 38-year-old resident of Kaufman, Texas, was last seen on Sunday, September 26, 2021, on Kaufman Road #4102, just outside the town of Kaufman. Despite an extensive investigation, Carr's whereabouts remain unknown.

Carr's disappearance has been a source of concern for law enforcement and his loved ones, exacerbated by his history of mental illness.

According to information released by the sheriff's office, Carr was last spotted with a possible injury to his forehead and the right side of his face. The circumstances surrounding these injuries remain unclear. It is believed that Carr left the area on foot and has had no contact with family or friends since his disappearance.

Nicholas Carr is described as a white male, standing at 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing around 220 pounds. He has short brown hair and blue eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing no shirt, cut-off blue jean shorts, and tennis shoes.
