TERRELL, Texas - Two people were arrested Wednesday after Terrell Police executed a narcotics search warrant and seized approximately 40 grams of suspected methamphetamine from a residence.
Members of the Terrell Police Department Narcotics Unit and SWAT Team executed the warrant on August 26, 2026, at a residence in the 500 block of Greenwood Street.
Police said two people were found inside the home and taken into custody during the operation.
A subsequent search of the residence resulted in officers locating approximately 40 grams gross weight of suspected methamphetamine, according to police.
The two suspects were identified as Ronnie Wayne Brown, 49, of Terrell, and Taylor Rose Edwards, 28, of Quinlan.
Both Suspects Face First-Degree Felony Drug Charges
Brown was charged with Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, between 4 and 200 grams, a first-degree felony.
Police said Brown was also wanted on two outstanding warrants. One was a parole violation warrant, while the other was from Harris County for Assault of a Family Member.
Edwards was also charged with Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, between 4 and 200 grams, a first-degree felony.
The Terrell Police Department said the investigation remains ongoing as officers continue efforts targeting illegal narcotics distribution in the community.
