Three Arrested Following Multi-Agency Drug Raid in Harrison County

HARRISON COUNTY, Texas - Three men were arrested Thursday following a large-scale narcotics operation conducted by local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies across Harrison County and the City of Marshall.

On June 4, 2026, the Harrison County Joint Violent Crimes and Narcotics Task Force, working alongside the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, executed four search and arrest warrants as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

Assisting in the operation were the Harrison County Emergency Response Team, the Marshall Police Department Special Response Team, the Harrison County Sheriff's Office, and the Marshall Police Department.

Authorities said the coordinated operation targeted individuals suspected of involvement in illegal narcotics distribution activities.

As a result of the investigation, the following individuals were arrested:

  • Ismael Baltazar Nambo

  • Jesse Montano

  • Rogelio Roman Aviles

All three suspects were charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, Greater Than 4 Grams but Less Than or Equal to 200 Grams, a first-degree felony under Texas law.

During the execution of the warrants, investigators seized multiple firearms, cocaine, and a large amount of U.S. currency.

Officials said each suspect is being held in the Harrison County Jail on bonds set at $500,000.

Investigators noted that the defendants could face additional federal drug conspiracy charges as the case moves forward.

The Harrison County Joint Violent Crimes and Narcotics Task Force said the investigation remains active and additional arrests and charges are possible as investigators continue to pursue leads developed during the operation.

Authorities emphasized that the operation demonstrates the ongoing cooperation between local, state, and federal agencies working to combat violent crime and narcotics trafficking in East Texas communities.

The task force stated it remains committed to identifying, investigating, and dismantling criminal organizations that threaten public safety.
