The Mesquite Independent School District (ISD) has taken decisive action following the discovery of a series of racially offensive statements posted to a social media account on X (formerly known as Twitter) associated with a teacher at Thompson Elementary School. The incident came to light on Monday, prompting the district to swiftly address the situation.
The troubling posts, which contained offensive and racist content, were brought to the attention of Mesquite ISD officials around 4 p.m. on Monday.
