SULPHUR SPRINGS, Texas - The Sulphur Springs Police Department is investigating after a juvenile reported that an unknown man entered a residence Thursday morning and forced him from the home.
Police said officers responded around 10:23 a.m. on May 21 to the 400 block of Whitworth Street after receiving a report of an unknown man entering a residence.
According to investigators, officers spoke with a male juvenile who said the suspect entered through the front door and forced him out of the residence on foot toward Lamar Street.
Authorities said the juvenile was able to break free from the suspect and return safely to the home.
The suspect was described as a Black man in his 20s wearing red pants, a white shirt, and a black backpack. Police said the suspect also reportedly has gold teeth and a tattoo on his forearm.
Investigators checked surveillance cameras in the surrounding area but were unable to locate footage of the suspect.
