Firefighters from multiple agencies responded Wednesday evening to a heavily involved camper fire in Hunt County.
According to South Hunt County Fire Rescue, crews were dispatched around 6:30 p.m. on May 20 alongside Caddo Mills Fire Rescue for a reported camper fire.
Responding units included:
- Squad 121
- Attack 121
- Command 120
First-arriving firefighters found the camper heavily engulfed in flames, with the fire spreading rapidly throughout the structure.
Crews initially launched an aggressive exterior fire attack before transitioning into overhaul operations after bringing the main fire under control.
Officials said coordinated efforts between the responding agencies helped contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby property.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
