Greenville ISD Announces New Campus Leadership Assignments for 2026-27 School Year

GREENVILLE, Texas — Greenville Independent School District has announced several administrative leadership changes ahead of the 2026-2027 school year as part of the district’s continued focus on academic success and campus culture.

District officials said the new assignments involve leadership transitions at multiple campuses across Greenville ISD.

Quinton Jones Named Principal of Greenville Middle School

Quinton Jones, currently principal at Carver Elementary School, will become the new principal of Greenville Middle School.

District leaders said Jones brings more than 15 years of educational experience and is recognized for his student-focused leadership style, academic expectations, and strong relationships with families and staff.

Jeremy Williams to Lead Travis Intermediate School

Jeremy Williams, currently assistant principal at L.P. Waters Early Childhood Center, has been selected as the next principal of Travis Intermediate School.

Williams has served in several educational roles, including teacher, facilitator, and campus administrator, and holds a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership.

Patrice Whitten Named Carver Elementary Principal

Patrice Whitten, currently assistant principal at Carver Elementary, will move into the principal role at the campus.

District officials said Whitten brings nearly 20 years of experience in education and has demonstrated success in improving student achievement while fostering positive school environments.

Krystal Petty Selected to Lead L.P. Waters Early Childhood Center

Krystal Petty, currently assistant principal at L.P. Waters Early Childhood Center, will become the campus’s new principal.

According to the district, Petty has served Greenville ISD for the past decade in several positions and is passionate about early childhood education and student support.

District Recognizes Outgoing Campus Leaders

Greenville ISD also recognized several current administrators for their service and leadership:

  • Melissa Yost, principal of L.P. Waters Early Childhood Center
  • Floyd Webb, principal of Travis Intermediate School
  • Heath Jarvis, interim principal of Greenville Middle School

District officials said Greenville ISD remains committed to strengthening campuses through leadership that supports students, empowers educators, and builds strong school communities.
