On February 21, 2023, at around 8:05 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 2400 block of Coombs Street. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found a man shot at the location. Dallas Fire and Rescue responded to the scene and took the man to a local hospital where he died.
The investigation identified Bradley Eakin, 27, as the man who shot and killed the male victim. Eakin was arrested and taken to the County Jail and is charged with Murder.
The investigation is ongoing.
The Medical Examiner’s Office will assist with identifying the victim.
