SWAT Search in Terrell Leads to Seizure of 21 Firearms, Drugs, and More Than $436,000 in Cash

TERRELL, Texas - A Crime Stoppers tip about a stolen vehicle led Kaufman County authorities to uncover firearms, narcotics, and hundreds of thousands of dollars in suspected drug proceeds during a SWAT operation at a Terrell residence, officials said.

The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office received the tip identifying a stolen vehicle located in the 1100 block of Anglin Way. Investigators confirmed from the roadway that a Dodge Challenger reported stolen out of Dallas was parked at the property. Detectives then obtained a search warrant for the residence.

The Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team executed the warrant and entered the home without incident. During the search, investigators recovered 21 firearms ranging from rifles to handguns, along with numerous magazines and ammunition.

Authorities also seized approximately 60 pounds of marijuana, about 2,000 grams of THC wax, drug packaging materials, and scales believed to be used for narcotics distribution.

Investigators reported recovering five vehicles from the property, including the stolen Dodge Challenger valued at approximately $60,000. Deputies also seized $436,110 in U.S. currency believed to be proceeds from narcotics sales.

One adult female was arrested during the operation. Officials said the investigation remains ongoing.
