A months-long narcotics and firearms investigation in Harrison County led to the arrest of a Marshall man and the seizure of methamphetamine and nearly thirty guns, several of which were reported stolen.
On December 2, 2025, the Joint Harrison County Violent Crimes and Narcotics Task Force, along with the Marshall Police Department SRT and Harrison County ERT, served an arrest warrant at a home in the 5600 block of West FM 2625. Officers were targeting Lawrence Siford, who was wanted on three federal warrants tied to drug trafficking and firearms offenses.
According to investigators, Siford was sought on charges of conspiracy to distribute and possess methamphetamine with intent to distribute, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and using, carrying, or possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. The warrants followed a lengthy investigation by the Task Force and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
During the arrest operation, investigators said they developed probable cause for a search warrant for the residence. A search of the property turned up a large amount of methamphetamine and multiple firearms.
In total, authorities seized 29 firearms, including several that had been reported stolen, along with roughly 280 grams of methamphetamine.
The case is being prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Texas. Authorities say the investigation remains active.
