MILLER COUNTY, AR - The Miller County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Jennifer Thibodeau following an incident earlier this week in which she allegedly confronted a neighbor while holding a knife and later caused damage to the neighbor’s vehicle.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, dispatchers received a call around 7:29 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2025, from a homeowner reporting that a woman was lying in her driveway. As the homeowner approached in her vehicle, the woman stood up, waved her arms, and motioned for the driver to go around her. The caller told deputies she noticed the woman holding what appeared to be a knife.
Cpl. Sanders arrived at approximately 7:43 p.m., but the suspect had already left. After speaking with the victim and reviewing surveillance video, the deputy identified the woman as Jennifer Thibodeau and went to her residence to speak with her. Thibodeau admitted she had been in the driveway and was formally trespassed from the property.
Later that night, around 10:06 p.m., the victim contacted dispatch again after her husband found a knife in the driveway and noticed damage to their vehicle. Deputies collected the knife as evidence.
The Sheriff’s Office emphasized that under Arkansas law, deputies must follow proper procedures for misdemeanors not committed in their presence. This includes obtaining a report and sworn affidavit from the victim, which is then reviewed by the Deputy Prosecuting Attorney before a judge can issue an arrest warrant.
Following that process, a warrant was issued for Thibodeau’s arrest on charges of Assault in the First Degree, Criminal Mischief, and Criminal Trespassing.
On Friday, at approximately 12:17 p.m., deputies located and arrested Thibodeau. She was booked into the Miller County Detention Center on the listed charges.
