Paris Man Arrested for Assault, Drug Offenses, and Stolen Vehicle Recovery

In a significant operation, officers of the Paris Police Department executed a search warrant in the 3700 block of Askins Drive, resulting in the apprehension of Taj Ramel Lee on an Assault of Family Member by Impeding Breath offense. However, the investigation took a surprising turn when officers discovered various illegal narcotics within the residence, leading to additional charges against Lee.

On the day of the operation, law enforcement officers from the Paris Police Department descended upon the 3700 block of Askins Drive armed with a search warrant for the arrest of Taj Ramel Lee. The warrant was issued for the alleged offense of Assault of a Family Member by Impeding Breath.

Lee was successfully apprehended at the scene and taken into custody based on the arrest warrant. However, the situation escalated when officers conducted a thorough search of the residence. Inside, they stumbled upon a cache of illicit substances, including Cocaine, Methamphetamine, and Unprescribed Testosterone.

In light of this shocking discovery, Taj Ramel Lee faced additional charges related to the possession, manufacture, and delivery of controlled substances, as well as possession of Marijuana. Following his arrest, Lee was promptly booked into the local jail to await further legal proceedings.

As the investigation continued, authorities uncovered yet another illicit activity tied to Lee. Upon tracking a stolen vehicle to another property owned by Lee, located in the 10 block of E. Booth, officers swiftly obtained another search warrant.

The search of the property on E. Booth proved fruitful, as further narcotics were discovered during the execution of the search warrant. The exact amount and types of drugs recovered have not been disclosed at this time.
