QUINLAN, Texas—A Quinlan man was arrested Thursday morning after a multi-agency operation stemming from a child sexual abuse material investigation.
At approximately 6:30 a.m. on August 14, 2025, a residential search warrant was executed in the 500 block of North Fifth Street. The operation involved the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office, the Texas Department of Public Safety Human Trafficking Division, and the Collin County Sheriff’s Office.
The warrant was the result of an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation initiated by the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation began after an electronic service provider reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) that an account registered to a local individual had transmitted child sexual abuse material (CSAM). NCMEC referred the case to the North Texas ICAC Task Force, which then directed the lead to local authorities.
Based on the investigation's findings, a search warrant was obtained for the residence. During the search, investigators secured additional evidence.
Manuel Antonio Hernandez, Jr, 38, of Quinlan, was taken into custody and transported to the Hunt County Detention Center. He has been charged with Possession of Child Pornography, which is a first-degree felony.
