ROWLETT, Texas — Xavier Sen’cer Stevenson, wanted in connection with a June 13, 2025, aggravated robbery that left a 15-year-old boy shot in the head, has been arrested by U.S. Marshals in Dallas.
At approximately 3:28 p.m. on June 13, Rowlett police responded to a shooting in a business parking lot near the 5600 block of Rowlett Road. Investigators determined the incident occurred during a planned meeting to sell items. The suspect shot the teenage victim in the head before fleeing the scene.
Officers secured the area and provided medical aid until the Rowlett Fire Department transported the victim to a local hospital. The teen was later released with non-life-threatening injuries.
Video surveillance captured images of the suspect, later identified as Stevenson. Rowlett police worked with the U.S. Marshals Service in the weeks following the shooting to locate him.
On August 8, 2025, U.S. Marshals found Stevenson in Dallas. Authorities said he had altered his appearance in an attempt to avoid arrest. He was taken into custody without incident.
Stevenson is charged with two counts of Aggravated Robbery and is being held without bond pending arraignment.
“Thanks to the dedicated work of the men and women of the Rowlett Police Department and the invaluable assistance of our federal partners, we have taken into custody the suspect wanted in this shooting,” said Rowlett Police Chief Michael Denning. “This violent fugitive is now off the streets. Let it be clear, we will relentlessly pursue anyone who commits violent acts in our city, and we will not rest until they are brought to justice.”
Rowlett police thanked the U.S. Marshals Service and community members who provided tips during the search.
