Paris police are currently conducting an investigation into a non-fatal stabbing incident that occurred on Saturday night in the 500 block of Bonham Street. Officers responded to a call at 440 Grand Ave. regarding the stabbing and were informed that the victim had already been taken to Paris Regional Medical Center (PRMC).
Upon arriving at PRMC, law enforcement officials spoke with a reporting party who provided crucial information about the incident. According to the reporting party, the victim had arrived at her doorstep seeking help after sustaining stab wounds and urgently needing medical attention. Showing great concern for the injured individual, she quickly took him to the hospital.
As the investigation progressed, officers focused their attention on the address in the 500 block of Bonham Street where the reporting party had encountered the victim. There, they spoke with other individuals present in the area who were able to identify the suspect involved in the stabbing.
To aid their investigation, the police collected relevant evidence from the scene and surrounding areas. The motive behind the attack and the circumstances leading up to the stabbing are yet to be determined, and the authorities are working diligently to piece together the events that transpired.
As of now, the identity of the victim and the suspect, as well as their current conditions, have not been disclosed to the public.
