South Hunt County Fire Rescue successfully contained a structure fire on FM-2101 in the Cash Fire district Wednesday night, June 18, preventing widespread damage.
Dispatched at approximately 8:23 PM, Squad 20 arrived to find a structure with partial fire involvement. Crews initiated a rapid attack, swiftly stopping the fire's progression.
There were no reported injuries. The fire was contained to a single room, resulting in minimal smoke and water damage throughout the rest of the structure.
Additional support at the scene included units from Tawakoni South Volunteer Fire Department, Caddo Mills Fire Rescue, Greenville Fire-Rescue, AMR Hunt County Texas, Lone Oak TX Fire Department, and Hunt County ECorps.
