Greenville Officer Honored with MADD Enforcement Hero Award for DWI Enforcement

Officer Robert Garcia of the Greenville Police Department has been recognized by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (M.A.D.D.) with the Enforcement Hero Award for his outstanding efforts in impaired driving enforcement.

Emma Dugas, State Program Manager for MADD Texas, praised Officer Garcia in a letter accompanying the award: “Since 1980, MADD has worked side-by-side with law enforcement with only one focus—eliminating impaired driving. I would like to recognize Officer Robert Garcia, who has exemplified a strong commitment by going above and beyond in DWI enforcement. MADD is incredibly proud of his outstanding service in keeping our roadways safe.”

The Enforcement Hero Award is presented to law enforcement officers who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to reducing impaired driving through a notable number of DWI arrests and community engagement.

Officer Garcia's efforts have contributed significantly to public safety in Greenville and reflect the broader mission of both the Greenville Police Department and MADD to prevent impaired driving and save lives.
