Greenville Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday afternoon, May 18, outside a funeral home in Greenville.
Officers were dispatched to the 5100 block of Interstate 30 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home shortly before 3:40 p.m. following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, Greenville police, Hunt County EMS, and the Greenville Fire Department found one individual with apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
As of Monday, no additional details have been released. The investigation is ongoing.
