On July 19, 2023, at approximately 9:20 p.m., Longview Police Officers swiftly responded to a shooting call in the 2100 block of Victory Drive. The incident left a male victim wounded by an apparent gunshot.
Upon arrival at the scene, the officers found the injured man lying outside a residence. He had sustained a gunshot wound and required immediate medical attention. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) quickly arrived on the scene and provided necessary aid to the victim before transporting him to a nearby local hospital. Fortunately, the injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening, providing some relief to concerned residents in the area.
