Police officers are intensifying their search for 11-month-old Jamar Ross after he was reported missing when authorities attempted to take him into custody under an order from Child Protective Services (CPS) on Friday afternoon. An Amber Alert has been issued by a Smith County judge as law enforcement agencies join forces to locate the child and his mother, 26-year-old Tarhondia Jackson.
According to the Tyler Police Department, officers responded to a report from CPS instructing them to assume custody of Jamar Ross from a residence located in the 800 block of W. Mims St in Tyler.
