The Rockwall City Council appoints residents to most of the various Boards and Commissions in August, and they need members of the community to get involved. The Boards and Commissions help regulate and/or weigh-in on important topics in the business of what it takes to make a city run effectively and efficiently. The volunteers who step into these roles are a vital asset to Rockwall.
Members of all Boards and Commissions must be residents and registered voters of the City of Rockwall, and are encouraged to apply with varied levels of expertise. Once an applicant chooses their interests in the online submission, their application will remain on file for two years for council consideration.
