The Dallas Police Department is currently investigating three separate homicides that have occurred in Southwest Dallas. The cases remain independent, and the police have not confirmed any direct connection between them. However, during the course of the investigation, it has been revealed that at least two of the victims may have had ties to prostitution.
The first homicide took place on April 22, 2023, when Dallas Police found the body of Kimberly Robinson, aged 60, in the 200 block of Sante Fe Avenue (case 067988-2023). The second incident occurred on June 24, 2023, when Cherish Gibson, aged 25, was discovered deceased in the same area on Sante Fe Avenue (case 114807-2023). Most recently, on July 15, 2023, an unidentified adult female was found in the 800 block of Brazos Street (case 128286-2023).
While the Dallas Police Department continues its investigations into these cases, they are urging caution among individuals involved in the sex trade due to the possible connections discovered. The department aims to ensure the safety of the public and is working diligently to uncover any potential leads or evidence that may assist in solving these crimes.
