In a shocking turn of events on Friday afternoon, a road rage incident escalated into a major vehicle collision, leaving one person seriously injured and another facing criminal charges. The incident occurred in the 1800 block of Loy Lake Road, prompting an immediate response from law enforcement authorities.
At approximately 1:54 p.m., officers were dispatched to the scene following reports of a violent confrontation. The subsequent investigation unveiled that Cody Kuntz, 33 years old, and Daniel Blakley, 26 years old, were involved in a prior disturbance which ultimately led to the explosive road rage incident.
According to evidence gathered by authorities, Blakley's vehicle intentionally collided with Kuntz's motorcycle, triggering a dangerous chain of events. Both vehicles subsequently crashed into the back of a nearby building, resulting in significant damage.
Tragically, the collision inflicted severe injuries upon Cody Kuntz, necessitating immediate medical attention. Kuntz was airlifted to Medical City Plano, where medical professionals are working tirelessly to treat his critical condition.
