Quinlan Teen Arrested After Bond Violations and Evading Police

Hunt County deputies arrested 19-year-old Walter Francisco Ayala-Sanchez of Quinlan on Tuesday, January 21, following the issuance of warrants for violating bond conditions.

Ayala-Sanchez had been out on bond for previous charges, including Assault Causing Bodily Injury Family Violence and Interfering with an Emergency Call stemming from a November 2, 2024, arrest, as well as Possession of Marijuana in a Drug-Free Zone from an April 10, 2024, arrest by Quinlan ISD Police while he was a student at Quinlan Ford High School.

The warrants were issued after his January 10, 2025, arrest by West Tawakoni Police during a traffic stop. Ayala-Sanchez attempted to flee officers and was subsequently charged with Evading Arrest or Detention with a Motor Vehicle.

He is currently held on a $60,000 bond. His next court date is scheduled for March 10, 2025, at 9 a.m.
