The Paris Police Department responded to a disturbance call on Monday evening, which led to the arrest of 46-year-old Jennifer Michelle Patterson. The incident occurred at approximately 7:33pm in the 2200 block of East Price Street.
According to the authorities, a concerned citizen reported a disturbance involving a female who was allegedly under the influence of narcotics and causing problems inside a residence. Responding officers swiftly arrived at the scene to investigate the matter.
Upon arrival, law enforcement officers made contact with Jennifer Michelle Patterson, a resident of Paris. It was during the course of the investigation that officers discovered Patterson had two outstanding felony warrants for her arrest.
The first warrant, issued by the Lamar County District Court, charged Patterson with Assault Causing Bodily Injury/Family Violence with Previous Convictions. The second warrant, issued by the Harrison County Sheriff's Office, pertained to a Motion to Revoke Probation for Evading Arrest with a Vehicle and Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle.
Recognizing the gravity of the situation, the officers promptly took Patterson into custody.
