On Friday, January 3, 2025, East Tawakoni Police officers responded to a distressing call about two children found abandoned. Authorities quickly identified 39-year-old Cameron Elizabeth Fleskes of Point, Texas, as the individual responsible for the abandonment.
Fleskes was arrested and charged with two counts of Abandon/Endanger Child without Intent to Return. She was booked into the Rains County Jail, where her bond was set at $400,000.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the abandonment is ongoing.
