In a heartbreaking incident that unfolded at the Moody Gardens Hotel in Galveston, Texas, four-year-old Asher Rayburn from Paris, Texas tragically lost his life after drowning in a hotel pool. The Galveston Police Department officially confirmed the child's identity on Sunday, July 2, 2023.
The unfortunate incident occurred on Saturday night while Asher and his family were enjoying a vacation at the hotel. The young boy accidentally fell into the pool, prompting immediate action from witnesses who pulled him out of the water and administered life-saving measures. Despite their best efforts, Asher's condition remained critical, and he was rushed to The University of Texas Medical Branch. Regrettably, Asher succumbed to the incident and passed away on Sunday morning.
