A major crash occurred near Henderson on Saturday, resulting in the transportation of several individuals to hospitals. The Rusk County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) reported that emergency responders successfully cleared the crash site located at State Highway 323 and Loop 571. The incident involved two vehicles and required the deployment of a helicopter. Multiple victims were subsequently taken to local hospitals for treatment, as stated by the OEM.
Upon receiving the emergency call, OEM units swiftly arrived at the scene, receiving additional assistance from Rusk County patrol deputies, the Henderson Fire Department, CHRISTUS EMS, UT Health East Texas EMS, and the Texas Highway Patrol.
