She is described as having black hair, brown eyes, standing at a height of 5'7", and weighing approximately 140 lbs. At the time of her disappearance, Ja'Myra was wearing a gray sweatshirt/hoodie, gray sweatpants, and black slippers.

Law enforcement officials believe Ja'Myra may be in the company of Lee Carter III, a 34-year-old black male suspect. Carter is described as 6'0" tall and weighing 203 lbs. They are believed to be traveling together in a black 2014 Mercedes E35 with the Texas license plate number RNS-2973.
