Paris Police officers encountered resistance from Tywan DeKesh Dawson, 45, on Sunday, June 2nd, in the 400 block of E. Provine St.
Dawson declined to engage with officers, prompting a pursuit when he tried to enter a nearby residence. During the chase, Dawson physically resisted officers' attempts to restrain him, pulling and pushing them.
Despite being grounded, Dawson persisted in resisting arrest by grappling with handcuffs. Eventually, officers managed to apprehend him.
Dawson faces charges of Evading Arrest or Detention and Resisting Arrest, with prior convictions for Evading Arrest on his record.
