Paris Police officers responded to a disturbance in the 1300 block of Sperry Avenue on Friday, May 17th. According to reports, victims alleged that they were pepper-sprayed by Toby Emberson McCurry, aged 39, who also stole keys during the incident. One of the victims had previously been in a relationship with McCurry, which had ended some time ago. However, McCurry allegedly continued to torment the individual through trespassing, property damage, and harassment.
On the mentioned date, McCurry reportedly gained entry into the residence through a window, pepper-sprayed the two victims, and then absconded with a key to the house. Approximately two hours later, McCurry returned to the scene, prompting officers to revisit the location and subsequently arrest him for the initial Burglary of Habitation charge.
