Paris Officers conducted a traffic stop on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at 2:31 pm, in the 300 block of NE 3rd Street due to a vehicle lacking a front license plate.
The driver, identified as Fazion Terrell Morgan, 31, was approached by officers. Upon verification, it was found that Morgan had three active felony warrants issued by Lamar County. These warrants stemmed from incidents reported to Paris PD in March of 2023, involving the theft of tractor-trucks and truck trailers from the 2400 block of South Church Street.
Morgan was subsequently booked for one Count of Theft of Property over $2,500 but under $30,000, and two Counts of Theft of Property over $30,000 but under $150,000.
