Sunnyvale TX Police received an emergency call at 5:59 pm informing of a shooting at the Riverstone Apartments, 201 Planters Road, Sunnyvale, Texas.
Officers found one adult deceased and four other victims, include three children with serious injuries, but non-life threatening at this time.
No suspect information is available at this time.
Police is confident that there is no threat to the public as the suspects were seen leaving the area into Mesquite.
The suspect's car is being described as a black vehicle, but unknown make or model at this time.
Sunnyvale Police detectives are working with Mesquite Police Crime Scene personnel to process the scene.
