Paris Police officers responded to a family disturbance on Friday, April 19th, in the 3700 block of Pine Mill Road. They spoke with a victim who reported being assaulted by Cody Wayne Roberts, 30, the previous evening and had just threatened again with a knife.
Roberts attempted to leave the area but was apprehended by the police. Due to evidence of assault and Roberts’ continued erratic behavior, he was arrested and charged with making a terrorist threat to a Family Member.
Additionally, it was found that Roberts was prohibited from engaging in family violence as a condition of his current bond related to a previous incident. He is currently awaiting trial for the prior family violence incident and has been charged with Violation of Bond Conditions.
