On Sunday, March 17, 2024, at around 3:00 p.m., Mineola Police Department received multiple reports of eggs being thrown from a pickup truck.
Following an investigation, one 17-year-old and four juveniles from the Grand Saline area were issued a total of fifteen citations for criminal mischief.
The offense carries a fine of up to $500 for damages valued at less than $100. The group reportedly drove through Mineola streets at speeds of nearly 100 mph while egging vehicles.
