On November 29, 2023, Commerce Police Officers arrested Michael David Howard for indecent assault. Howard, a 6'4", 228 lbs white male, was taken into custody and later bonded out of the Hunt County jail.
In a separate incident on the same day, the Department of Public Safety arrested Roger Abiel Membreno De Dios of Dallas for a fail to stop and render aid in an accident that occurred in Hunt County.
