On October 30, 2023, around 4 p.m., the Sulphur Springs Police Department responded to multiple reports concerning a potentially intoxicated individual walking unsteadily near South Broadway. When officers arrived at the scene, they made contact with the individual, identified as Thomas Earl Lamb. Lamb informed the officers that he had consumed several alcoholic beverages. Subsequently, officers conducted Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which indicated signs of intoxication. As a result, Thomas Lamb was taken into custody and transported to the Hopkins County Jail.
Thomas Earl Lamb, a 42-year-old resident of Sulphur Springs, was booked into the Hopkins County Jail on a charge of public intoxication.
