In an incident earlier today, concerns arose when a bus driver reported an individual in the vicinity of FM2642 and FM2650 carrying what appeared to be a fake black rifle with an orange tip. Law enforcement promptly responded to the situation but were unable to locate the individual in question.
The incident occurred at 6:50 AM when the bus driver noticed the subject and reported it to the Royce City ISD Transportation Office. The Transportation Office then contacted the Royse City Police Department.
No reports or evidence suggested that the individual had boarded a school bus or entered any educational facility within the Royse City Independent School District. Despite this, rumors regarding the unusual sighting started to circulate, especially within the Royse City High School.
