The community of Royse City came together in celebration as the ribbon was officially cut for the impressive 105,000 square-foot expansion project at Royse City High School. The Royse City College & Career Academy, housed within the new facility, is set to provide a wealth of educational programs and opportunities for local students.
This expansion is a significant step forward in accommodating the growing student population, boosting the capacity of Royse City High School to accommodate up to 2,750 students. To enrich the educational offerings, the Royse City College & Career Academy has forged partnerships with Paris Junior College and Texas A&M-Commerce University, allowing students to pursue associate degrees.
The construction of this state-of-the-art facility was made possible through the successful passage of the 2021 bond program, thanks to the support of the community's residents.
