Two Arrested in Henderson Drug Investigation; Police Seize Cocaine, Firearm and $136K in Jewelry

HENDERSON, Texas - Two men were arrested during a narcotics investigation in Henderson that led to the seizure of suspected cocaine, other controlled substances, a handgun, more than $13,000 in cash and approximately $136,000 worth of custom gold and diamond jewelry.

The Henderson Police Department, working with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), conducted the investigation Oct. 7, 2026, in the 400 block of North Broadway Street.

According to police, officers observed activity consistent with narcotics trafficking, prompting a traffic stop that resulted in the seizure of approximately 29.3 grams of suspected powder cocaine and $1,928 in cash.

An adult male was arrested following the traffic stop and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, Penalty Group 1, between 4 and 200 grams; tampering with evidence; and evading arrest or detention.

Investigators subsequently developed information that led them to obtain a search warrant for a residence associated with the case.

SWAT Team and DEA Assist With Residential Search

The Henderson Police Department, assisted by the Northeast Texas Regional SWAT team and DEA agents, executed the residential search warrant.

During the search, investigators reported recovering several types of suspected illegal drugs, prescription medications, cash, jewelry, a firearm and a vehicle.

Among the items seized were approximately 254.5 grams of suspected powder cocaine, 4.5 grams of suspected crack cocaine and more than 1 kilogram of suspected codeine.

Officers also recovered pressed pills believed to contain methamphetamine, along with pharmaceutical pills believed to be hydrocodone and alprazolam.

Police estimated the value of custom gold and diamond jewelry recovered during the search at $136,000. Some of the jewelry reportedly featured insignia associated with gangs and narcotics activity.

A 9mm Taurus handgun and an SUV were also seized.

A second adult male was arrested following the residential search. He faces charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, Penalty Group 1, between 200 and 400 grams, and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
