COOPER, Texas - A Cooper man has been arrested on a felony charge of online solicitation of a minor following an investigation by the Delta County Sheriff's Office.
Donald Fuller was arrested at the Delta County Sheriff's Office after an investigation by the department's Criminal Investigations Division, according to Sheriff Marshall Lynch.
Fuller was taken into custody and transported to the Hopkins County Jail, where he was booked on a second-degree felony charge of online solicitation of a minor.
His bond was set at $100,000.
The Sheriff's Office did not release details about the allegations that led to Fuller's arrest, including when the investigation began, the age of the minor involved or the nature of the alleged communications.
Under Texas law, a second-degree felony is generally punishable by two to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000 upon conviction.
Lynch said investigators took a careful approach to the case to ensure decisions were supported by the available evidence.

The Sheriff's Office encouraged residents to report suspicious activity or suspected criminal conduct involving children.
The charge against Fuller is an accusation, and he is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
