DELTA COUNTY, Texas - A 42-year-old Delta County man is being held in the Hopkins County Jail on multiple felony charges, including two counts of sexual assault of a child and two counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact.
Sergio Guillermo Pastor was initially arrested by Delta County Sheriff's Office deputies at approximately 8 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, on a warrant stemming from an incident authorities said occurred in 2021.
Pastor was taken to the Hopkins County Jail and booked on a second-degree felony charge of sexual assault of a child.
While at the jail, he was served with three additional felony warrants. Those included another second-degree felony charge of sexual assault of a child and two second-degree felony counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact.
Pastor was arraigned on the four charges and posted bonds totaling $450,000.
Four days later, on Sept. 8, authorities arrested Pastor again on a probation violation warrant. The Sheriff's Office said Pastor had previously been placed on probation in an injury to a child case.
Bond on the probation violation was set at $250,000.
On Sept. 10, Pastor was served with another warrant charging him with tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair. Bond on that charge was set at $10,000.
The bonds associated with the warrants described by the Sheriff's Office total $710,000.
Pastor remained in the Hopkins County Jail pending trial, according to the Sheriff's Office.
